I spent some time organizing the guitar picks and making sure everything was in it's place looking neat. I still don't know what alot of things are, so I just have to use my best judgment when trying to put things in their place. And I haven't made any mistakes, so I must be doing alright. I've gotten used to the feel of the store and what it's like to work in retailing and I have a much better understanding of the business.
At some point, I got hungry and went to the burger place around the corner and got Stella and myself some lunch. It was a good day, not too busy and full of chatter... One of my kind of days.
Sometime in the afternoon, the power went out for a good hour or so. This brief lack of power allowed Jim and I to discuss my project some more and what I should include on my poster. It was great to talk with him and get some insight on the matter, and it was a once in a lifetime moment where Jim wasn't constantly occupied with the computer.
