My project for my LINK Internship was creating a survey that would promote local businesses. I came up with a few questions that the customers could answer in a matter of a couple minutes. I made sure to keep the questions unbiased, so-as not to guilt or push them into answering what they thought they should answer. At the bottom of the document, there are graphs to show how satisfied the customers were when they shopped locally vs online.
My goal was to put out the idea that local buying is a great way to really connect with people in your community. Katzin was a really good place to advocate for because it's a music store and music brings people together. I wanted to show that when you go into your local stores, there is something you get out of it that you can't receive if you buy online or from a large business. With online purchases, there's no guarantee that you're getting what you're paying for.
